HAHOF
Criteria for Nomination
STUDENT ATHLETE
An athlete with a career characterized by superior athletic ability, achievement, has demonstrated dedication to his/her sport and pursuit of excellence. An athlete who possesses good citizenship and characters, who has served as a positive role model to young athletes. Athletes are eligible fifteen (15) years after graduation.
COACH
A coach with a career characterized by superior ability and achievement, dedication to his/her sport, and the pursuit of excellence. An individual who has demonstrated good citizenship and character, who has served as a positive role model to young athletes.
A coach is eligible five (5) years after retirement.
HONORARY
An individual who, in a superlative fashion, has contributed to the enhancement of athletics at Hillhouse High School through service and support by giving unselfishly of his/her time and energy. There is no time requirement to be eligible.
Mission Statement
The James E. Hillhouse Athletic Hall of Fame is a not for-profit educational institution dedicated to honoring the excellence, rich history and athletic achievements of former Hillhouse stand-outs as well as those who have made outstanding contributions one of the Nations's oldest and most storied public high school.
